Mission Statement The Northwest Maritime Center is an alliance of community-based organizations, local businesses and governments working together to protect and enhance the maritime heritage and working waterfront of Port Townsend.
The Northwest Maritime Center will enhance maritime heritage by providing maritime resources and educational opportunities, serving community shoreline needs, and fostering authentic maritime visitor experiences.  It seeks to strengthen Port Townsend's identity as a national Victorian Seaport and regional center for marine trades and to provide a focal point for sustainable economic and tourism development.  The Northwest Maritime Center is dedicated to the protection of key waterfront parcels as sites for building a rich, cohesive maritime legacy.

We are currently working to purchase a key waterfront parcel in historic downtown Port Townsend by selling $50 waterfront plots with sweeping views of Puget Sound.
