
Pacific Challenge Results Are In!

• Elizabeth Bonaventure was crewed by Sea Scouts from Anacortes
• Journeyman was built in 2009 at the Northwest School of Wooden Boat Building by high school students enrolled in the Chimacum PI Program and Port Townsend ICE program who also serve as crew.
• Tuvaaq was crewed by Sea Scouts from Kent.
• Elder Spirit was crewed by a 4-H sponsored group from Olympia.

And the winners are:
• Man-Over-Board drill won by Elder Spirit
• The Peter Puget Navigation Challenge Award went to Elizabeth Bonaventure
• Rowing Race
o 1st place and the Richard Lyons Memorial Award was won by Townshend
o 2nd place Bear
o 3rd place Elizabeth Bonaventure
• Mailbag Transfer Elder Spirit
• Marlinspike Seamanship Award went to Elizabeth Bonaventure
• Best in Class was won by Tuvaaq a skin-on-frame Umiak
• Coxswains award and the Mark Van Hazlet trophy went to Journeyman
• Sailing Race
o 1st place and the Bruce Jorganson Seamanship During Sailing Award was won by Elizabeth Bonaventure
o 2nd place Bear
o 3rd place Journeyman
• "Community Spirit" Bonzo DeLeo Award was won by Elder Spirit
• Host Crew Choice Award was given by Bear to Tuvaaq
• Overall Excellence, Queens Cup was won by Bear
