Pacific Challenge This Weekend!

The action can be viewed from the NWMC grounds and pier and the public is invited.Racing starts at 9am Saturday morning. The weekend wraps up with a parade of the competing boats at 10am on Sunday, which will feature each team performing a salute developed just for this event. Crews traditionally compete in replica wooden longboats, including the NWMC's Bear and Townshend. In addition, this year the crew from Auburn will be aboard an umiak.
