Lisa
Vizzini, Treasurer
Lisa moved to Port Townsend in 1977 after attending the first Wooden Boat Festival and receiving an offer from Carol Hasse to apprentice as a sailmaker. She worked for Port Townsend Sails for almost four years. For the next twelve years her family worked a salmon tendering operation in Elfin Cove, Alaska, “commuting” from Port Townsend every summer. In the fall of 1994, Lisa entered the business school at the University of Washington. She graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and a concentration in accounting and information systems. In October of that year, she passed the CPA exam and began working as an accountant and business consultant in Port Townsend with a special interest in nonprofit organizations. A mother with a blended family, she currently lives with her husband, Dan, a shipwright, and three children. In her spare time, she loves to telemark ski, and race her Lido 14.
