Business Manager, Pygmy Boats
Dave has worked with Pygmy Boats for the past eleven years helping grow a small business into an internationally known producer of computer designed wooden boat kits. Prior to his tenure at Pygmy, he was the Director of a start-up AmeriCorp program, coordinating a staff of six crew leaders and 34 corps members in year long conservation projects in New Hampshire. Previously certified as an instructor for the Wilderness Education Association, Dave has lead groups on numerous outings across North America, teaching a diverse range of skills including; caving, canoeing and mountaineering. He holds a degree in Outdoor Recreation/ Environmental Education from Southern Illinois University. When not working, he can often be found standing in a river, waiving a stick.
