Adam Henley, Wooden Boat Chandlery Store Manager

Adam is the manager for all Chandlery operations, technical advice and serves as part of the program staff for Regattas, Boat Shop projects and Boat Donations. The Wooden Boat Chandlery supplies high quality traditional marine hardware, supplies, tools and books to shipwrights, boat builders and boat owners to fulfill our mission, fill a unique national market niche, to nurture the art and craft of wooden boat building, and to use the proceeds from the sale of these products to support the maritime educational programs of our organization. Adam is responsible for selection and marketing of merchandise both in-store and on-the-web. Adam has years of lumber and marine retail experience, having managed West Marine stores in Seattle and Port Townsend and worked for five years with Edensaw Woods Ltd. Adam studied music education at Warner Pacific in Portland. He is an avid sailor, boat builder and restorer. He is currently on his third and most extensive classic yacht restoration, a classic 1926 Alden schooner at nearly 44’ on deck. He enjoys any time he can get on the water, any time of the year.
